IVORYHUT is simply the name of my piano teaching business. The name pays homage to a manificent species that were once systematically killed (to near extinction) for their tusks in the manufacture of many makes of piano. It became a symbol of wealth in the 1800's to own a piano with it's keys donned in ivory for aesthetic beauty and value
