Dear Pupil/ Parent,

Due to the on-going installation of high speed cable on our road, I would like to advise that if you're coming by car to leave a little extra time to get here. There are far fewer parking spaces and access is a little tricky but not impossible. Parking a little further up the road may be easiesr. Please exercise caution as you approach the stairs as the pavements are a little uneven Many thanks.

You will have heard from me by now if you were going to be presented for exam in the coming weeks.

Please remember that exam board operates purely on a first come first served basis for a specific dates...with the time to confirmed at the end of the process once the request is put through.

The Piano was tuned this morning...and it sounds great again!

Reconnected with an old college mate, my new tuner is called Dan Evans and he travels around the southeast tuning all manner of instruments.

Dan reported that the bass was sharper than the rest of the piano and advised to move it 6 inches further off the outside wall....it's getting rather cramped in here. Think I need a bigger studio. He will be round again in 6 months.

I have been having huge problems with maintaining the temperature an humidity of the room due to the stairwell and wild gusts when we open the front door. The piano would do much better in its own environment/ enclosure. ..i.e a separate room...just as well I can dream.

Would love to know what you all think of the sound & feel of the piano when you come along for your lessons.
